Better than business class

Yesterday, between breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner at our lounge, we managed a tour of historical sites in Singapore on the ‘big bus’ and 6 kms of wandering round the local shopping centres.

Luckily I decided to sort out my suitcase, as I discovered I hadn’t packed any decent pants. All fixed by a quick trip back to the shops this morning.

After a pleasantly uneventful taxi ride, we arrived at terminal just on noon. Our cruise package cost a motza but has already proved its value thru expedited check in.. After joining a dedicated queue with no one in it, they sat us down for a chat with the manager who explained about our free drinks and WiFi, private restaurants and personal butler, while they took our passports and visas and did the check in for us, then escorted through immigration and onto ship. Some lunch and then drinks at our private lounge before heading to our room. Which, as you can see, is a great size. Complimentary champagne on ice awaits.

Currently waiting for bags to arrive so we can head off for a swim . Tomorrow a sea day.
